Sill Optics fused silica beam expanders series „ALPHA“ (Absorption Low Plus High Aperture) are especially designed for large laser diameters. High power lasers emitting collimated 1/e² beam diameter of about 6…9 mm. Thus, the full beam diameter could achieve 18 mm. The limitation of this diameter will cause a considerable power loss and heat or damage the beam expander. Especially for this case, we advise our anti-reflective coating from 1,030 nm to 1,090 nm. “ALPHA”-beam expanders for different wavelength ranges are deliverable upon request.
